Really if you have an oval shaped face you can pull off just about any type of hairstyle. Maybe get some razor cut bangs just below your eyes. Layers would also look nice esp. if you have thin hair, it would make it look more full.

Wow. We have about the same description. I, too, have an oval shaped face and my hair is down past my waist. Right now I just have long layers around my face, and I found that looks pretty cool. Since I've worn my hair like that for about a year, I'm getting bored with it. I'm about to cut mine in really long, wispy bangs with short layers around my face. I don't know. But from what I've read, if your face is ovular, than most hair styles will work.

So yea, after some rigorous training the smaller guy gets a bruised up leg and a cauliflower ear......and the bigger guy was just sore or somthin.....

I don't know if they build up clientele from their school they may be able to be successful, if not successful if he owns his shop he needs to make sure to hire good stylist...... He can enroll in evening courses and should be able to finish up in 18 months..

You all may qualify for tuition assistance, etc. and you may have to make some changes in your careers for now and a few sacrifices. That's what it's all about! My step dad has been a hair stylist for over 25 years. He makes at least $5000 or more every two weeks. My younger brother is going to cosmetology school to become a hair stylist and he will graduate next month. So yes a very good career but competitive.

hmm, i was going to suggest the color pulse.. but i think the reason it didnt work was because of how dark your hair is normally. so your probably going to need somthing that just coats your hair, maybe somthing that washes out in a day =/ the color pulse would only work if you lightened your real hair, and that would cause terrible damage.

you could try color flirt from clairol. it might work? or you could try the wash out kinds like got 2 be or bed head color gels.

also since halloween is coming up they have the spray can colors, (they make your hair very sticky though. )

try a second application of the color pulse and see what happens? (even if it doesnt work itll condition your hair like crazy.)

(all of the products i mention you can get from any store like wal mart, target or wallgreens)

I don't remember what it's called but there is this bottle of hair color shampoo........grey bottle with pink letters I believe.........It's a temporary dye...it shampoos out with each shampoo........but it will get your hair REAL red.

It's not showing up because your hair is so dark. Honestly, all you're going to get with a semi-permanent dye is a "highlight" effect.

However, you could try Manic Panic. What I did was apply it with a tint brush (they're about 1.00 at Sally Beauty Supply) really evenly over all of my hair. I put a plastic bag over it, let it sit for an hour, and blasted it with the hair dryer once every 10 minutes or so.

I used Vampire Red and I got color like a Dr. Pepper can (I have dark brown hair and did not bleach it before applying). I'm warning you now though, apply it carefully because it will stain anything it touches. Get yourself plenty of gloves. And be prepared to scrub the tub when you rinse it out.

I know it sounds like a lot of work, but honestly, it's one of the few ways you're going to get visible red color from a semi-perm dye.

Oh yeah, you can get MP at any Sally, and possibly Hot Topic. You can use anything similar (like Special Effects or Punky Colors) but I prefer MP. Good luck.

I'm almost 50 and the greys are really starting to come in around my temples and crown. I tried "Nice and Easy". It came out O.K. but it doesn't take but 4 to 6 weeks and the roots start to show. I thought I'd let the color grow out and just get some highlights. Any other suggestions. I don't mind the grey that much and don't want to have to dye my hair for the rest of my life. Well you are fifty so if you are just starting to get them then that is going grey gracefully. I'm almost 36 and have been going grey for about 5 years. I get mine highlighted every 6 months it is great. And having to color it every 4-6 weeks isnt bad, I'd look at it not having to see that nasty grey! And you would look much younger by coloring and not leaving it grey. My mother is almost 60 and colors her hair she looks like she is 40! Color does wonders! Good luck!

50 ? you're doing pretty good if just getting grey now. i'm 30- and almost totally grey. the choices are simple - just accept the new greys that grow in or break out the dye and dye your roots every few weeks. streaks and hi-lites don't mask it too well 'cause roots still grow in and the grey only matches the blonde for a little while.

I would just let it grow out! Grey hair can be very pretty if you don't style it like an old lady.... So, you can either let it grow out naturally, or go to a salon and see if they can dye the rest of it gray to match your roots! I'm sure that would be hard to do...but the way I see it, those are the only 2 options if you don't want to color it forever!
