you would have to bleach your hair for her color, perm it for the curls (without curling it everyday), then volumize it with a volumizing mousse and blowdrying it upwards.
I would start by getting a product by Matrix called "Sleek Looks" They have a shampoo and conditioner then a product that is called extreme that you would put in after and smooth it out a bit. You will have to play with a bit. You may have to get a bit barrel curling iron to loosen the curls a bit. This is a anti-humidity product so if you use the products right is should stay.
Shakira had really good straight hair in the beginning of her career, but she bleached it, and dyed it so much it got like that. So i'm not sure how to get it exactly like that. I know that she had good hair before because in the beginning of her career she only sang in spanish and I'm spainsh. I listened to her music alot and she had really good hair back then. She's been through alot of colors since then. So her hair isn't naturally like that, she damaged it
After, I had my puppies hair trimmed (she's 9 weeks) I read that it ruins the adult hair if it is trimmed before 10 months. My puppy is a pet and I plan on keeping her fur short, not long for show.So is it that it just ruins the hair for show or does cutting the puppy hair ruin the adult hair physically if I am keeping it short?
I can't see what it would have to do with hair in the future. Hair is dead, not living tissue - rather like fingernails. The only part of the hair that is living is the root, and unless the root is affected, it will keep on growing the kind of hair it is genetically programmed to grow as long as it's alive. Trimming the hair doesn't affect the root, so I see no reason it would affect future hair growth.

I've trimmed my Yorkie's hair before 10 months, and they have beautiful hair still... I've never heard that before.
Naw, she's fine. You are cutting hair off at the ends and are not touching the hair follicles at all. Adult hair comes in around 12 months and the puppy coat sheds during that time so it is a transition period for them. Even if you were showing the puppy it would not affect long term hair.
Clipping your Lhasa's coat before she's 10 months old will NOT ruin it, so please don't fret. Most pet owners end up needing to have their Lhasas' coats taken down long before their puppy reaches 10 months, simply because the coat was not kept brushed and combed out, becoming too matted to humanely untangle. Since you plan on keeping her short anyway, it's better to start her at a young age (wait until she's had at least her second Parvo shot --- usually 9-12 weeks of age) so that she can get used to being handled at the grooming shop. The sooner you start, the more accepting she will be of the whole grooming experience.
Lhasa and shih tzu show dog are to have long and silky hair. If you cut their hair at an early age it will become wirery. Not to much of a concern if you are keeping her well grommed and you are not showing her...
im 14 female and i have body hair all over! i hate it. im going to a party next week and i want to wear soemthing nice liek a halter top but i think hte hair would show. what can i do to make it not show? what else "semi-formal" can i wear that would not show it? what kind of waxing do u suggest me?

Any place that does spa treatments can help with body waxing for you, as well as any place that does laser hair removal. Look through the phone book and call, to get estimates of what they charge.

u shud be shaving or waxing by now!!i strated when i was 10!!i suggest u wax because when u wax,the hair will grow back slower,thinner and lighter.u could make ur own wax!!thats what i do=P this may sound totallly crazy but it works and is sooo cheap!! just buy waxing strips at the store or just simply cut a pillow case or bed sheet and make it into strips.i do this all the time and it saves me soo much money and its easy once u get the hang of it.

I don't recommend waxing. I belong to the Church Of Devout Cowardice: The 1st commandment is "thou shalt not do anything to get thyself hurt or killed". Waxing sounds rather painful...good luck and have a great time!

use foundation to make ur face have a nice color but blend it in with ur neck,light red pink lipgloss and light white eyeshadow on the tip of ur eye and brown above with mascarra not too much make up
If you're trying to lighten up your dark eye complexion, go with golden/mossy/green tones that will make your eyes seem to be lighter and more blonde-coordinative. Maybelline has a line of cream eyeshadows that come in a stick. That glide on easily and stay on for most of the day.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to go to Sephora or a departmea\nt store where they sell makeup and explain to them your delema and they will have good answers.

I naturally have jet black hair and cannot afford a salon right now so I was wondering which product would show up most and wouldnt fade as fast
if you have jet black hair none will show really just wait till you have the money for a salon....
Try one of the dark burgundy/dark red Hydrience colors. Feria fades way too fast and uses metallic dyes, so if you want to color over this color later on you might run into problems with regular dye reacting with teh Feria dye. L'oreal Preference is also good, just make sure you pick a dark red color.
just wait until you have enough money to go to the salon and get it done right.

Red is the hardest color to keep and the hardest color to get rid of. And most likely you'd have to bleach your hair before dyeing it red, because it probably wont show up on your hair. You can try, but don't use permanent dye it'll kill your hair.
definitely try using color brilliance Ion products from sally beauty if you have one near you i have naturally medium to dark brown hair, and its the only thing that without bleaching gets me a natural red coloring, i perfer mine as reddish brown but i'm pretty sure if you use a 9% or 12 % activator with it it will work out a nice red too its costs about 3 bucks for the activator and 4 for the coloring good luck =]
try i bright red but dont dye your hair all the way, just some strips here and there, then later if you want more pizzaz, add blonde highlights the same way.
None of the colours will show up on black hair... But you can try Garnier Fructis hair dyes that you get from the drugstore. They'll show up deep red like burgundy if you have black hair!
Ok, i'm like the guru of self dying - i've done it sooo much and i also do other peoples hair also... you're not going to get a true red over black hair from just the box dye. You could try to do a blonde over black but it will turn orange. You could bleach your hair, which will turn it light orange and then dye over it but if you choose the wrong shade you will get dark orange, which is not attractive.
What you'll get by putting dark red over black is a dark red wash type color, which isn't unnattractive assuming you apply it evenly, but it also isn't a true red. I also have naturally black hair and that is usually what i do when i want to go red. I pick a burgundy-ish shade usually, or something like red ruby from feria. If you apply it evenly and leave it in the reccomended length of time, it comes out a dark red, which is pleasant. Dark red tends to look better then a light red would anyways, which i've also done.
If you try to put a lighter red over black it will make your hair look chunky and you will have big chunks of a really ugly orange in it.
Bleaching your hair or dying it much lighter then your natural color is very damaging but i've done it. I once bleached my hair to a very light orange and then dyed a medium red over it. Unfortunately, it was very damaging to my hair and i ended up struggling with split ends, breaking hair, all sorts of problems.
Healthy hair in any shade is much more attractive then a dry frizzy mess in another shade. I'd reccomend if you are a warm black then find a dark warm red and dye over it, or if you are a cool/blue black, then find a dark but cool shade of red and dye over it.. don't try to go too extreme on your own, because you will either damage your hair severely or you will end up with an orange head of hair and look like bozo the clown.
