im planning to dye my hair im getting a coon tail and i was thinking i would dye it pink then some one told me that it wasnt a good idea b/c my hair would start to fall is this true?? PS im planning to dye more than a coon tail i would show you the pic but idk how to attach it cuz its keeps on asking me for a file and every time i put one it says its wrong can you help me on that too?? I think you just understood wrong.

If you dye your hair alot in a small period of time and you fry it, it can start to fall out. Dying some coons in your hair will not make it fall out.

That is only true if you dye it a lot, mine doesn't fall out and i have to dye it for photo shoots since i am a supermodel. if you dye your hair a couple times, nothing will change but the color :D

No. Not taking care of your hair after you dye it wil make it fall out. Condition and moisturize. A rinse is a safer way to go. Some are even good for your hair!

its not certantly . wats true is that the chemicals arent the best 4 your hair. your hair may fall out if you have anyreaction to the liquid but other wise its good to go!!

well... it really depends... it depends on your type of hair, how strong it is, how well you take care of it, and how you're going to strip your hair...

if you have thinner hair that normally falls out, i wouldn't recommend it because it'll make it more thin and fall out more...

if you have thicker, more resilient hair, then just make sure that you don't use something that's harsh and you take good care of it afterwards...

It is an old kid's show on channel 25 (YTV) and it was about three puppets, one was a girl and two were boys. One of the boy's had blue/purple hair and glasses. They lived in a farmhouse and they had a horse. A real person would then put toys on the lawn and then kids would come and play with them. And there was also a puppet mouse that would pop up from the beams on their ceiling.

ok this is really old too. All i remeber about it is that is was near the show braceface. It was about a jewish girl and a cathloic girl who are friends. The Cathloc girl goes to a cathloic school and has blond hair. Also there is one episode where she tries to get her mom to stop smoking they just found out it was bad for her. You need to "fill" your hair. A filler is a color in between. Like when I go from blonde to brown I have to first go to red and then brown. Your hair is damaged and it is harder for the color pigments to grab. If you were pink then that means you are daring and not afraid to try things. Why don't you buzz it off and start over? People are already used to you being a person that will shock them, this would just reinforce your brave image with them! My policy is, it is only hair don't be afraid to experiement!

i usually go to friends to get mine done (licensed friends). my hair has been dyed many times. i'm a natural deep auburn with red only visible in sunlight. currently my hair is a pretty dark brown with some red streaks visible. it's splotchy.

the last time i went in i had it dyed a level 2+3 dark brown. that faded into what i have now (more than a month later).

the time before that i tried to get it dyed vibrant red with thin dark brown streaks, but you couldn't see the red when it was done.

i want intense color, but not so intense that i can't show up to work. i'm guessing i need to bleach it first....

If you want to do it yourself, then go to Sally Beauty and buy 2 boxes of the Salon Care Color Remover, do this twice to take out all the color. This isn't bleach so it's safer, but your hair will be orange because you have been using red based dyes. Next, get a neutral brown dye, and an intense red dye with a 10 developer. If you want a really intense red color, mix 1/4 brown color and 3/4 red color, or if you want it to be a really reddish brown color, mix half and half. Secondly, you are bouncing from one color to another and will never get what you want, or what looks good, doing that!!

You need to go back to the salon, look at the color swatches, choose the color you want and discuss this with your colorist.

Tube colors fade faster than bottle colors!!! And I don't care who makes them or how much they cost.

For what it's worth, here's my professional (42 years as a hairdresser/teacher) opinion.

When using a red color, regardless of the level, it has to have a splash (about 1/8 of an ounce) of something (maybe a BR or an RB), whatever your colorist decides is best for your situation) in order for it to take. This will enable the hair to receive the red better and avoid fast fading.

For my hair, I use a deep red with a heavy purple base (Redken 4RV, my splash is CB 6). The brown (that's what the B stands for) in the CB is my enabler!

Give this info to the your colorist; perhaps she can convert this to the brand of color she uses.
