On the episodes I am watching now (reruns i'm short), there is a guy with blonde hair that is a firefighter, I think he is the main character named Gavin or something. Anyway, when the guys get a fire alarm and they have to go out to the fire, he will hide in the truck, wait until everyone else gets out, and then go into the burning building through a side or back door, and then rescue someone. It's like he is trying to hide from the other firefighters. Does anyone know why? I haven't been watching this show all along, and only happened to watch it today because nothing else was on, so thats why I don't know the background story.
On the show Rescue Me on FX...?
the main character's name is Tommy Gavin and yes he does have blonde hair. he's played by Dennis Leary. Rescue me is a great show and a show that would be worth watching the previous seasons.
if you notice the name on the bottom of the jacket Gavin's wearing when he goes into the burning buildings, it says Keefe. that's the name of his dead brother or something that was a fireman but was killed. my theory as to why he's doing this is because he's a recovering alcoholic. a lot of the guys in the fire house are also alcholics, i think he's trying to make them think they've seen a ghost and scare them straight so they won't drink anymore and everyone can sober up and support eachother during their recovery. but i'm hoping we'll find out next wednesday night during the season finale as to why Gavin's doing this.
On the show Rescue Me on FX...?
I guess because he's the main guy he goes in alone to be the hero. He was probably hiding maybe because he has issues. It's a good show.
