When a guy has less(or no) armpit hair , is it a turn off to women?

earlier this afternoon a gay classmate of mine commented about a time when he saw my armpits accidentally ( i'm a guy) and he said that it looked to him that i didn't have any armpit hair, which i do have by the way but much to my disappointment there are just not many strands of it in my armpits (actually they're barely seen and really few which i really hate and regret!!!); he said this loud and clear in front of a few of our girl classmates and for the record it was really very embarrassing and depressing on my part because it looked like a major turn off to the ladies when they asked me if it was true and asked me to show my armpits to them which i refused to!so here's my problem- ever since high school ( i am now at college), i was teased a few times by one of my girl classmates that i had less armpit hair and it looked like she didn't like that fact..is this true?? damn it now i don't think i can go with my friends to the beach anymore..im very ashamed i need your answers ladies!

Some women like hairy guys. Me? GROSS!! I can deal with armpit hair, but I prefer waxed or shaved underarms. Shave the rest off and be a bit more confident about it!

NO. Tons of hair is a turnoff. My ex had little hair under his arms/on his face/chest/and happy trail when he was 18. It eventually grew up, not heavy, but fuller than what he had. You aren't done going through body changes. That gay guy either wanted you, is jealous of you, or is just a jerk. I honestly know a guy that waxes/shaves every hair on his body. He had no problem getting very attractive women. Don't feel embarrassed....it's really not a big deal!!!

Don't stress. I think we would prefer a guy to have less under arm hair then heaps. As you get older, you will probably grow more anyway!

You know what people are like a school, they find one thing to pick about something and everyone joins in so they aren't the ones to be picked on so they look cool. My last ex use to shave his under arms. So there are people out there that do it intentionally.

Fashion - shaving the pits is more common in the US than elsewhere.

Men typically have more body hair than women. I suspect that shaving legs, pits, and everything else on the body is partly done to exaggerate the girliness - not that it needs it.

I wouldn't let them make you feel depressed. It's a matter of preference , if you like hairy man or not, most women don't.In some cultures they do, some Europeans countries love both men %26amp; women with lots are body hair. Me -personally no.., %26amp; based on most of your answers, they would agree.Besides, more hair, more tendency to smell..if you sweat, keep the hair low, keeps hygiene -cleaner.

Good luck, don 't let couple ladies deter you.. Be proud, be strong.

Why should it be a turn off? I would be more concern with her arm hairs.
