Um the show was about a robot who was invented by this guy and his family treated her like a real person. She looked like a real girl and she had brown hair and wore a checkered dress if I remember correctly. It has been a long time. Does anyone else remember this show?

oh yes...i loved that show...the favorite thing she said that i can remember is "my names not surely" after the guy said "surely, blah blah blah"

Yes, it was quite cheesy but I watched it faithfully. It was syndicated and it aired locally on one of the UHF stations on weekends. Then in later years I would see it late at night or on Sundays in the early evenings. The nosy kid next-door was irritating but made an interesting foil.

AH Hahaha! Yea it used to freak me out completely! Hahaha! I was only little when I watched it! I can still remember the theme song. And that red checkered dress...eeuuueegh.
