how do I describe to the hairdresser how I want it exactly like this?

i've show hairdressers this picture before to get it cut like this but it just doesn't look the same as a result.

i'm not sure who that hairdresser is. and that hairstyle is not very unique, by the way. many people have it now. but if you want it, bring the hairdresser your picture and explain what you think was wrong. if the bangs were wrong, you might want to ask her to make them fuller, and more layers on the sides. remember, it's not gonna look exactly like the picture. good luck (:

Try to be realistic. The picture is taken on an angle. Consider your type of hair and hairline because if you have a big forehead you know it's going to look horrible!

Styling afterwards may require a bit of teasing the top of the head and pushing the bangs over until they stay.

First off she has a certain hairtype for that type of style and that is chunky layering..you should go to a good hairplace, a good haircut and dye like that that would be exactly what you want at a great salon would be about almost 200 dollars..if you live in canada try going to a Naturl Solutions Hair Salon/spa but dont be afraid to spend a lot of money for a expert cut and dye it will be worth it..oh and to keep the style you should straighten it and put hair frizz finishing cream after you straighten it

Well, you need to tell her you want lots of layers and then after you get it cut, you need to straighten it so it is very straight then you need to relize that just because this cut looks cute on her it might not on you....i've done that before where i don't like it but I love it on somebody else. Im a hair dresser from N.Y. I have done this cut b4. Tell your hair dresser to use a hair razor instead of scissors. Its a texturizing tool not like the one you use on your legs..lol. To get the volume just use a volumizing spray on the roots and blow dry upside down and then use some bio-silk and flat iron it!
