What hair cut should I get?

I'm a female, 19 years old. I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, and I can't decide what to do! I had it layered about 7 months ago so the layers still do show a bit. The shortest layer reaches my chin while the longest layer reaches my shoulder blades. I also have side-sweeping bangs. I don't REALLY want to cut it too short, as short hair hasn't ever looked good on me. Any suggestions? (If you can link to pics that'd be great)

Just say no to thick, straight bangs and multi-colored hair extensions!! The first you will likely end up regretting and having to grow back out. The second is neither original or artsy, but rather screams "I am desperate for attention!" Take yourself more seriously than that.

Go with something classic and elegant, and you will get plenty of attention. If you want a touch of wild, dye your hair a red or platinum blond (please steer clear of blue, green, orange, etc. Odd colors went out of style about 5 years ago).

The hair cut should depend on your face shape and hair type. So, what shape is your face and hair type? Do some research on the internet or try some of the links i've included in the sources section.

I have layers as well, but i have not had it cut for ages. Im getting my hair cut on friday, and i was just going to keep the length, only have about 1 1/2 inches of the length, but at the front, have the shape put back in, with short layers and long layers.
